Cybiko Viewer

This application allows you to view and play some obscure file formats. It was originally made to view Cybiko video files (hence the name) but has since been expanded on. I also had various Amiga renders and animations that I could not easily view and a bunch of other decoders so included them as well! Recent versions have support for image processing too!

Supported File Formats

The following file formats are supported, compatibility may not be 100% due to the lack of test files I had available:

• Amiga - IFF bitmaps and animations including HAM6 and HAM8 modes and Extra Half-Bright (EHB).

• Cybiko - Images (.pic, .cvi) and Video (.cvc) formats.

• ZX Spectrum - Screen dumps (.scr).

• Autodesk FLI / FLC (256 colour) animations.

• AVI - Video only RAW / DIB (Uncompressed) and MSVC1.

• Quite Okay Image (QOI) format images.

From Java version 0.8, standard images formats GIF, JPEG and PNG can also be opened. This is done using Java's built-in decoders.

Image Processing

Basic image processing and effects can be found in the Java version from 0.8! These currently include:

• Resizing (Half / Double)
• Mirror (Horizontal)
• Flip (Vertical)
• Crop (Cut out)
• Grayscale
• Blur
• Pixelise

These can be applied to either the whole image or to selected areas. When finished, you can either copy and paste the modified image into another application or export it to one of many common image formats!

Downloads

Usually the Java and Windows version are similar despite the different version numbers. At the moment the Java version of Viewer is the more advanced of the two!
