Numix

Numix is a drag and drop maths game / teaching tool. It can be used in many ways:

As a teaching tool, it can be used to show how numbers can be represented by blocks.
As a game it allows learners to visually see how basic maths skills such as addition and subtraction work.

Requirements

Numix makes use of HTML5/Canvas and should work on most tablets and computers that have a modern browser. Numix should also work well with Interactive Whiteboards.

Instructions

Blocks can be put on the main area by simply dragging them upward. To remove a block, tap it and click on the red 'X'.

Remove all the blocks from the screen.

Enter or exit question mode, this will display a question. The numbers turn green when the correct number of blocks are below the numbers. Put the correct number of blocks in the answer column to get a tick.

Get another question.
